Meet Kevin President, CEO & Senior Engineering Technician

Kevin M. Wypychoski, SET, possesses in excess of forty years’ experience in the automatic fire sprinkler industry; servicing retail, institutional, corporate, commercial, and residential development sites. His corporate firm, Precision Mechanical Services, Inc., designs, fabricates, installs, tests, inspects, and maintains every type of fire sprinkler/suppression system, since 1984.

Licenses held by Mr. Wypychoski currently include, fire protection contractors’ licenses in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut; as well as plumbing and HVAC contractors’ licenses in Connecticut.

Mr. Wypychoski earned the Level IV Certification, the highest designation attainable nationwide, from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET), and is the firm’s in-house senior engineering technician.

On June 1, 2005, the Honorable Governor M. Jodi Rell appointed Mr. Wypychoski as a board member of the State of Connecticut – Department of Consumer Protection Licensing Board, and he continues to serve in that capacity on a routine basis.

Mr. Wypychoski is a Past Chairman of the Connecticut Chapter of the American Fire Sprinkler Association (AFSA).

In March 2009, Mr. Wypychoski was appointed by the National Fire Sprinkler Association, the international fire and life safety code writing authority, to serve as an expert on the Technical Committees for Foam Water Systems, as well as Airport/Aircraft Facilities. He continues to serve on the technical committees as a distinguished member, and is instrumental in updating the NFPA Standards relied upon around the world.
